Mimeman was written to complement the usefulness of ObFilebrowser, which uses MIMEtype associations to create a launcher menu for files.
Mimeo
Mimeman is also intended to be used with mimeo, which uses the MIMEtype associations created by Mimeman (and PCManFM) to open applications.
