OBFILEBROWSER(1) OBFILEBROWSER(1) NAME ObFilebrowser - a file browser for Openbox using pipe menus SYNOPSIS obfilebrowser [options] DESCRIPTION ObFilebrowser is a command-line tool which creates pipe menus for Open‐ box from system paths. These menus can display the content of directo‐ ries and lists of applications for opening files. The application lists are created from the mimeinfo on the system. Default applications are determined using ~/.local/share/applications/defaults.list. MENU EXAMPLE To display the contents of your home directory in the openbox root menu, you could add the following line to the root menu in Openbox's menu.xml, which is normally located at ~/.config/openbox/menu.xml: Options may be included either before or after the file path within the "execute" attribute and will cascade to all submenus. Note that if obfilebrowser is not on your path, you will need to spec‐ ify a full path to it in the menu's "execute" attribute above. OPTIONS -h, --help Display the help message and exit. --copy An internal option to enable copying paths and mimetypes to the clipboard. This functionality requires xsel. --no-hidden Do not display hidden files (files which begin with "."). --no-parent Do not allow navitation to parent directory (".."). --no-self Do not display menu for the current directory (".").
